Read our FAQ to find information how to clear autocomplete forms, turn off autocomplete, enable or disable AutoComplete Settings in different browsers.

AutoComplete is a feature that stores a list of everything you type in web pages (your name, e-mail address, keywords you enter in search engines, etc) and helps the user complete the form by suggesting possible matches.
While the AutoComplete feature may be helpful for some things, it can also seriously compromise your security and privacy, because anyone who has access to your computer can see what web sites you visited and what information you entered on web pages. Also various malicous software can use AutoComplete data to steal your personal information such as your name, e-mail address, credit card information and/or retrieve web sites passwords stored as autocomplete data.
You can clear AutoComplete history using special software or manually.
Also you can prevent Internet Explorer and other web browsers from automatically completing forms by
    turning off AutoComplete settings.

    Question of the Day

    • What is HTTP proxy server?

HTTP proxy server is a proxy allowing to work on the Internet with HTTP and (not always) FTP protocols. It can carry out caching of information downloaded from the Internet. Now HTTP proxy servers are the most widespread. Their support (ability to use them) is included into many programs: browsers, download managers etc. However, their support is not realized at a level of an operating system – in order to use them, you should configure all programs, which should use proxies, in an appropriate way. HTTP proxy servers have several anonymity levels.
